Josie Caruso

Born in Sicily and migrating at a young age, Josie believes she has the best of both worlds – her wonderful heritage combined with all that the relaxed Aussie lifestyle has to offer.

After a short stint in Melbourne, the family moved to the country. Growing up in a farming community on the NSW border north of Swan Hill, she enjoyed the freedom of open spaces, exploring her family’s vineyard and cycling to the Murray River for some summer relief.

Josie settled into Bendigo in 1997 and never looked back. She never lost sight of what community means, and how rewarding it is to maintain a connection to the place you live with the people you meet each day – locals and visitors alike. Something that she also witnessed her parents modelled every day.

With a diverse employment background covering sales and marketing, retail management, telecommunications, hospitality and various roles within the public sector including project management and transport, Josie returns to real estate – an industry she fell in love with, in 1998 through to 2003 shortly after the birth of her long-awaited daughter.

Slipping straight back into real estate has been more rewarding than she could have imagined. Former clients have sought her out, and she has already built a loyal following of new ones. Her commitment to her clients, their real estate journey and achieving their desired outcomes.

Outside of real estate, she is having a go at rowing; enjoys upcycling furniture; trying her hand at gardening and walking through the bush. She has enjoyed giving back to the community by volunteering in junior netball and her greatest achievement was participating in the Ride to Conquer Cancer in 2012.
