The Potter's House was designed by the renowned Melbourne Architect - Allan Powell. Powell had the ability to create with style and permanency and often drew from the traditions of the Georgian revival and sculptural precepts of modernism. Some of his important works included Tarrawarra Museum of Art, Di Stasio House, Crigan House and Davis House. The Potter's House has a wonderful sense of calm and in its symmetrical design, the views, sunlight and landscape have not been compromised. At the time of designing - Allan informed the current vendors that he had 'always wanted to design a mini Palladian Villa.'
