Known for honesty, integrity, professionalism and a wicked sense of humour, Chris Bender is as local as Seymour gets, with family connections as far back as three generations!

Chris is an active community member – involved in everything from the football, cricket and netball fixture, to lawn bowls, the Seymour Arts Society and local Rotary.

Together with his wife Sue, Chris decided the region offered an idyllic lifestyle and the perfect place to raise two sons and a daughter – offering an easy commute to the city and the perfect place to live, work and play.

Chris has a diverse background… having worked prior to his real estate days as a sign-writer and for ten years owning a video store (in the old days, way before Netflix existed!)

With a hard-won reputation, Chris maintains he enjoys the industry as much today as he did when the real estate sector lured him to join Seymour First National in 1998.

The Bender philosophy has always been that ‘our success is only relative to the happiness of our clients’ – with many repeat sellers, buyers, landlords and a long list of clients becoming life-long friends along the way.

Chris is proud of his Agency’s success and maintains his objective is not to be the biggest realtor in town, but to strive always, to achieve optimal results for every client.
