About Lucas

As a fourth generation Cairns local, Lucas is the great, great grandson of the former Cairns mayor Charles McKenzie (1905 & 1912), Lucas comes from a family that has always been involved in Small to Medium business in Cairns. Lucas's father Peter Sexton has been the general manager of several of the largest refrigeration firms in Cairns for several decades & his now retired grandfather Bill Sexton was the General manager of Ireland Holden for many years.

Lucas has strong local knowledge & an extensive list of business contacts which combined with his extremely dedicated work ethic ensure Lucas will achieve the best possible result for his clients with a number of benchmarks set including the top 3 prices of $870,000, $820,000 & $775,000 to date in the estate of Kanimbla Heights and the sale of an unfinished inner city penthouse for $1.475 million after it was listed elsewhere for two years.

Lucas is also heavily involved in several community organisations such as Rotary and the Cairns Chamber of Commerce and wants to see the City of Cairns achieve its full potential in the 21st century.
