Greg Burgoyne

Greg grew up in Scarborough and went to Scarborough High School. After leaving school Greg took up work in the wool industry in Fremantle which led to travelling the far reaches of this state as a shearer. Always in search of a better deal as far as employment for himself, led him to gain work on an off shore drilling rig. Once again travelling with work became a feature of life. Starting in the Timor Sea and around to the Bass Strait and back again before being transferred overseas to India for a couple of years then to European waters until the downturn in world oil prices stalled exploration and forced him back home. In the "off seasons" Greg managed to always find work in the building industry or in transport. Consequently over the years Greg has had a variety of experience and met a diverse cross section of people where another series of occupations eventually led him into real estate which he says is the first job in life that he has felt passionate about. He is a devoted father of three children and in his spare time he spends ferrying his daughters to their sporting and social events. He prefers the simple pleasures like swimming at Scarborough, picnicking or walking in the hills and having a barbie with friends.
