Andy Brown

Andy Brown's sales career started when he was just a lad of 14 selling Solo soft drinks door to door. With a love of all things fast, Andy soon found himself selling Honda motor bikes, a position he held for nine and a half years. "I was looking for a challenge, a change in direction," recalls Andy. "One day, a sales rep with Denis Murray Realty walked in to the Honda showroom, and it suddenly dawned on me. 'Why don't I try real estate?'" True to form, Andy fronted up to Denis Murray, Principal of Denis Murray Realty, and suggested it would be in the company's interest to give him a job. Eighteen years later, Andy is arguably the most successful real estate agent Perth has produced. In 1992, he established Brown Murray, which held WA's multi-listing agency title for three years. Personally, Andy has been awarded the Top Listing or Selling Representative in WA no less than 11 times. Despite his personal success in real estate sales, Andy counts the longevity of his sales team as his biggest achievement. 'Brown Murray has been so successful for so long. It's this consistency in sales that puts our agency right up there in terms of success.' Andy says his no-nonsense approach to real estate has contributed to his success. "I call a spade a spade, I'm honest with my clients, even if they don't particularly like what I have to say, but ultimately, this is what gives them the best result." After 18 years at the top, many have asked Andy what continues to motivate him. His response is simple: "I never get tired of getting the best deal for my clients. Real estate is dynamic, it's always changing, and you are always meeting new people. How can that be boring?" Andy loves to spend time with his children, educating them in the finer points of football at Eagles and Dockers home games. A big supporter of the Starlight Foundation, Andy regularly helps out with sponsorship and fundraising events.
