About Brad

Brad McDonald arrived in Queensland from Melbourne in the latter end of 2000 to take up the appointment of manager of Pacific Harbour, a 650 million project owned by Jon Haseler of QM Properties. Brad’s former position for the fourteen years was as General Manager Australia for Retail Stores, Myer, David Jones and State Manager for Victoria/Tasmania at Waterford in Collins Street, Melbourne.

During his time at Waterford Wedgwood he became friends with Jon Haseler from QM with Brad presenting Waterford Trophies at all race venues. It is not well known outside of race circles that Jon is one of Australia’s largest Horse Breeders with studs at Glenlogan near Beaudesert and Kentucky in the US. For a number of years Mr Haseler approached Brad to come to Queensland to work at Noosa Waters, a QM Project. It was at the end of Noosa Waters that Brad arrived to take up the position at Pacific Harbour of Manager. Many awards were won by the Pacific Harbour Team, most notably being voted the “Best Residential Subdivision” in Queensland two years running at the UDIA Awards in 2002 and 2003.

In late 2006 Brad’s wife became seriously ill and he returned to Noosa to be with her. In 2007 he formed a boutique real estate agency with a Partner (since dissolved) and has worked in the Noosa and Hinterland areas ever since. He is a resident of Tinbeerwah with a ten acre hobby farm growing limes from over 100 trees ad supplying Noosa restaurants and the Surf Club.

Since Pacific Harbour days he still enjoys selling land and has repeatedly declined to go back to Bribie instead preferring to remain in the Noosa area.

The last two years he has enjoyed working at a Sunshine Beach-based real estate agency and left to further his business opportunities with Century 21 Conolly Hay Group
